What is a Cartridge

Each cartridge is composed of mainly propylene glycol, and a small dose of nicotine. Propylene Glycol is a food additive found in many foods we eat today. It is used in food coloring, flavoring and also used to keep food, medicines and cosmetics moist. It is considered as generally safe and it is the element in our product that helps to create the vapor that simulates smoke. Nicotine is an addictive alkaloid that is naturally present in certain plants. A high presence is found in tobacco and a low presence is found in common vegetables such as potatoes, tomatoes and green peppers. Nicotine, when delivered in small dosages from a Health e Cigarette can deliver a feeling of calmness or relaxation. Current available information states that nicotine in and of it self has not been shown to cause cancer in healthy tissue. Additionally, it has not been shown to have any mutagenic properties. This being said, it should also be noted that the International Agency for Research on Cancer has not evaluated nicotine as of this time.

Each smoker will use the Electronic Cigarette uniquely. The average duration of a cartridge is equivalent to about 7-10 traditional cigarettes.

The cartridge contains water, propylene glycol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol#Potential_health_effects), nicotine, and natural flavour essences.

Propylene Glycol is used in lots of everyday products including toothpaste, food and more widely known for its use within dry ice smoke machines.

When do I have to replace a cartridge

You should replace the cartridge when the vapor released by your E-Cigarette reduces. This is usually an indication that the nicotine in the cartridge is running out.

How long does the Battery last?

The length of a battery life depends upon the usage, but anywhere between 2-5 hours, is a good estimation. In some instances batteries have been known to last for longer. The Liberty Flights starter kit comes with two batteries, so that you can coordinate usage with charging.

The flashing light at the top of the device, indicates that the battery is low and needs to be recharged, or that you are overheating the device.

How long does an Atomizer last?

The Electric Cigarette was initially invented as a cessation device and although the authorities in many countries do not condone the Electric Cigarette for this purpose (!); the fact remains that it is a disposable product and as such the elements should be regarded as consumable items. Some atomizers have been known to last for 4-6 months others a lot less.

For peak performance, we have noted that atomizers are at the their best for the first 40ml of e-liquid or around 5000 draws. We have also noticed that different liquids have different effects on the life span on an atomizer.

By taking extra care of your atomizer you can prolong its life. The best way to care for your atomizer is to clean it with canned air and leave whilst not in use. We recommend getting a couple so that you can rotate (and never be caught out).
