first few days so far

hi everyone
ok ive been using my tornado tank system for two days and i thought i would
write up how ive been getting on so far
i only got a basic starter kit one atty one batt and some tank cartriges with some 18 mg tobacco flav juice
well i was impressed with how well it works and how easy it was to use.
taste wise its not awfull but not really what i would call a real tobacco taste more of a twang of ashtray . but i have about ten other flav's in the post to try out so i hope to find one that i like
my plan is as probably most of  the people who have started vaping is to give up smoking
my first day i smoked a whole cart in about 4 hours and that made me feel a bit sick lol  but it still didnt put me off smoking a rollie afterwards
second day i found myself using it more often and getting used to the taste a bit more the throat hit was v harsh at one point and i realised the the atty wasnt quite done up tight enough
and i managed to go about 5 hours without a normal fag and that pretty god for me !
today ive just got up i rolled myself my normall morning rollup  smoked half of it and found i didnt want it now im sat in my front room smoking my tt insted (first time ive smoked in my house for ages )
the only thing that worries me is the cost, but from what ive read there are ways of making this a much cheaper habbit than smoking normall fags
my plan is to reduce nic intake slowly untill i can give up easier( i hope)

Thats great news. Alot of people use vaping as a road to quitting, alot stick to it.

If you using it, work down the nic levels but dont be to fast getting down, take your time and do it slowly. I mix vape say vape 1 time at 8mg then at 14mg and then back to 8 etc might help in the times you doing down a level.

Usually flavours are not to far off what they should be but the tobacco flavours tend to have a nutty/sweet taste to it which i actually prefer now.

Keep at it, you doing great and have a great setup to keep you happy for a long time.

The outlay is not that expensive when you think generally it will cost £60ish to get going when i used to smoke £120 a month. Once you have a few months stock it wont cost you much and it will just be your interest in flavours/mods/upgrades that cost but the cost is quite small compared to smoking.

Let us know how you get on, im on day 16 so far...i picked up my riva 510 at luchtime from home (had my last analogue in the car) and didn't expect the change to be so easy but some people need a few for a few weeks to get into vaping.

I have been vaping for over 2 years and did not even want to have a cig after the first few weeks.  Cost wise, it has saved me over £2000, even taking into account my early 'desires' for something better (?)

The kit that is available now is so much better than when I started and LF is still one of THE BEST places to buy from

Recently, I have had 4 turds (anal-logs), and I was so disappointed at the 'throat hit' and 'vapour' production compared to my 510 atty and Riva/GD Box mod!!!!

It sounds daft BUT vaping is many, many times better smoking fags,,,, for taste, throat hit, smoke production and cost,,,,and that does not even include the health benefits I have felt

Plus,,,, I can 'smoke' in Pubs

KEEP at it,,,,,,it is the way forward,,,,,it is 21st century smoking,,,,,it is FANTASTIC

just to update quickly
thanks for the advice btw
went out to the pub fri night  and asked the lady behind the bar if i could smoke my e cig
she looked confused and said ehhhm i dont know i suppose so nobody's ever asked before
the lanlord came out and said yehh sure its cool
so had a great night in the pub in the warm (it was peeeeing it down here fri night lol )
smokng my tt ,everyone was asking me about it and wanting to have a go
 
next day i decided to try and go to work  with having only one fag in the morning before i leave
i was shocked how easy i found it  , it didnt bother me at all  wich is great because i can easy smoke 6-7 fags before i even start work ,
i took only one cart with me and it lasted me all day ans stil hasd some left and the battery was fine
so v pleased so far ( will update with my flavoring adventures lol )

The urge for my morning cig is still very strong..but like you, I only smoke about half of it before it really starts to taste like ass.

One trick I used, when I first started, was to keep one cart with a 'higher nic' liquid in and use that first thing in the morning and after meals, when I would normally grab for a fag.
Worked for me.

hi again yeh i think your right barry a stronger one in the morning might be a plan .
Had a bit of a relapse 
After recieving the new flavors that i had sent i got my white lab coat on and tried some juice mixing for the first time ,
well ive worked out that im not the strong flavoured type it really put me off vaping to be honest
having only one atty wasnt a great thing either
but i did find that i quite liked just a hint of flavouring i havnt tried them all yet but i liked coconut with a very slight hint of cherry
 it was nice but  i couldnt vape this all day so i switched back to a normall tobacco flav

i think i will try more flavours when i can order some more attys .
i havnt given up smoking yet but ive not smoked as much as i would have done so thats good
as far as my tornado tankgoes so far  im still very happy with it its still working fine as the day i got it so v happy
i do find the carts leak a bit but i just give mine a wipe each time i pick it up
and its fine .
i blow the attys out each night and undo the battery and cart and it seems to be fine so far
so thats good
