Prof's Review of Gold & Silver (B&H)
«

For this review I used 24mg LF B&H/G&S liquid in a 901 enabled Screwdriver. I vaped my way through the whole bottle in 2 and a half days - so this is an "intensive" review...
Firstly - nicely packaged in a 5ml Dekang bottle with a well printed LF label.
Liquid is very pale and clear. The liquid actually smells like a UK cigarette (in the packet)...
Liquid flows well and drips nicely - on the "runny side" I'd say, which really makes it soak into the cart well.
I don't give scores -as they are so subjective.
The liquid to me really does taste like a UK cig from the B&H "family" - I was a Silk Cut Purple and Blue smoker and I recognise a similarity.
There is a sweetness - not on the draw but on the aftertaste - but just a hint of fruit/citrus.
EXCELLENT hit, a real "catch" to the throat. I really noticed it in my first hit of the day with freshly topped up cart and freshly charged Spiderfire in the SD (probably putting out 4.1 or so volts)
Importantly the flavour doesn't become cloying or dull with constant vaping.
The vapour has little odour to those around - or at least that what they said (the same people have commented on other liquids having "candy floss" smells etc)
Overall this is an excellent liquid for ex-UK Ciggy users - a good pleasant tobacco flavour suitable for regular heavy use with a real hit (at 24mg)

Great review Prof, I like the runnier liquids now as they wick really well and soak into the cart better than thicker ones

A different perspective
I found the B&H a little chemicaly. I couldent get the flavour of tobbacco or smoke at all. I too smoked B&H then laterly silk cut, I was dissapointed with the flavour and probable wont buy it again.
I agree with the hit, I tryed the 18mg and for 18mg it was pretty good.
I felt the write up on the web site over sold the flavour a tad, personaly LF Marlboro and Camel had a lot more flavour to them.
Vapour wise I tend to find there is not much between all LF tobacco flavour with the exception that Marlbero has tended to produce slightly less than the others.

Interesting Bjorn what device were you using? I note you were also using 18mg as opposed to the 24mg I used - in my experience that can make quite a difference...

Well, it tempted me to try it in my latest 'tobaccos' order, along with Luxury and Turk/USA. I know I've tried a little Turk/USA before, but I'm looking for a regular buy flavour, to go with my Menthol now.

Hi prof,
I was mostly using a 510 but as with every liquid I tryed it in the 401.
so far I have vaped my way through about 60ml of ecis liquids and I have found that there is a similarity in all the tobacco flavours. I think it must be somthing to do with base liquid. I am begining to enjoy it more the more I use. I have also found a splidge of krystal added to any ecis works wonders. I'll try the 24mg next week (just placed a large order with Ruyan Direct & TW)

Were you reviewing the PG or VG version? Has anyone compared the these?

I have both here, TBH I have difficulty telling the two apart. They both taste very similar as would be expected. Can tell little difference by way of vapour production from an LR901 atty, but I find these things to be vapour production powerhouses when broken in anyway.
EDIT: Just gone to vape a bit of the VG now to freshen my mind on the subject, as I generally vape PG version. I think the VG is actually slightly 'ashier' tasting than the PG. So possibly more analogue-like, that's how it tastes to me but it may be different for you.. There is little in it anyway.

I'm interested in this comment Prof, I've also found that 24mg liquids seem to give a cleaner/clearer flavour, I used to use 18mg and found that it somehow masked the flavours in comparison to the same flavour at 24mg? Why is this do you think?
Also agree that the this is a very nice flavoured liquid, had it at 24mg VG and vaped it almost exclusively until all 30ml's was gone, which is very unusual as normally I tend to find I get a flavour block if I do that after about 2 days.

I'm not sure, but I think one of tthe reasons I tend to go 24mg is to do with this "balance" - I've found that weaker juices tend to lack this - some stronger juices seem to suit certain flavours though..
