Well on the 21st June 2009 E-cigcity opened it's door to the world

As a new person to vaping in Feb 2009 I picked up my 1st ecig a 901.
After getting into cart filling, charging cycles and untold other little niggles,
my vaping world was looking great.
When a few batts died around March 2009 I started to disect them.
And discovered the wonderful world of ecig modification.
My 1st creation was a passthrough as I wanted to build a sturdy constant power source. I was working from home and on the PC for hours on end.
Below is a pic of the prototype.

This rapidly developed and became the passthrough sold today through liberty flights.
As you can see I was at that point still wanting the end glow to mimic a huge cig, lol
The modding bug had well and truly given me a bite.
Things were coming thick and fast and I was buying batteries to rip apart.
Some very kind forum members started saving dead parts for me to experiment with.
Without those kind people I could have not continued my modding quest.
The next batch of experiments were e cig adapters, long before the mass produced ones

Made from old atomisers any combo was possible.
In the pic my 1st 510 to 901 and it looks huge, lol
People started showing an interest in the passthroughs and adapters.
So I started to sell a few through PM's etc.
The demand started to grow and so did the workshop.
I decided to take the plunge develope a site and sell the passthroughs and adapters.
soon followed by torch and box mods.
I wanted to provide a service I would expect from others, and hope I have.
I found it fascinating that people from all over the world were buying my stuff.
And I kept saying this will all stop in a few weeks.
But the orders kept coming, lol
I think it was Dec 2009 I had a conversation with Abe.
It was decided then that I would shift my products to LF and the relationship was born.
So there you have the very brief history of e-cigcity's 1st year.
We will be 1 on the 21st June 2010.
And a huge thank you to everyone who has made this year a fantastic one.
I'm sure I will be running a little birthday comp or two
