Maybe I can explain. (and I hope you're ok with this Abe)
Abe and I are negotiating prices.
With your UK VAT fees and the shipping costs, Abe's profit marjin has been practicly nothing.
I have been trying to get a Chinese company to make the (very time consuming) end pieces for me which would greatly reduce build time, and in turn build expenses.
I have sent this China company 3 package with my product starting last freaking March. They are not getting my packages, and can't seem to tell me why.

If anyone knows of a manufacturing facility that could help me with this, your info would be much appreciated.

Yeah, that's about it. We make a loss selling these. You can of course buy direct from Rick.

How you sending to the manufacturer, rick?

Get some agreements in place mate.
I know you probably will have.

I would hate to see the DSE copper arrive on the market.

I know Cisco got stung.

I have a US patent pending, which really doesn't mean a thing to the Chinese, or anyone else for that matter.
Either way, I only send the end piece to China, not the entire Copper. I doubt they even know what it is.
I'm sending them one and asking "make me this".
But yes, you're correct. But it's real tough to get protection, and like I said, patent laws don't mean jack to the Chinese. Even if I where to get a Chinese patent.
