Looking for a new switch but this one is more than up t the job ATM.

You could sell the Aurora to P&O cruises for their best loved ship.

I wish I was able to play and make fun things. Garry you should do a course!

Garry, I'll probably get strung up for suggesting this as we do like our freebies, but have you thought about selling any of the one-off mods?

Not sure how it would work as they obviously couldn't go in the shop.  But I'm sure you would be able to recoup some of the money you are laying out by doing this - perhaps your own auction on the trade thread?

From what I am reading, there are loads of people here that would gladly buy anything you make.  Aside from getting some money back to fund new projects, you would also get plenty of feedback from these items for you to consider on future mods.  Wink

P.S. If you think this is a good idea (and Abe allows it), do I get a freebie for making the suggestion?  Grin

I've actually discussed this with Garry and made the same suggestions. There isn't that much point me getting involved with the prototype devices, I am sure he can sell limited runs through here very easily. Why not I say, I'm all for it and I hope Garry does this. 48 hour DOA warranty though Tongue

I certainly wouldn't expect to keep anything I beta tested without donating to the inventor.
After all there's plenty of effort and material that goes into making these mods.

I agree Tyke, but I was more on about the stuff Garry must have amassed in the past trying to perfect a mod.  I reckon he must have oodles of the stuff sitting in his lab that could be sold on to fund new ones..

The Aurora looks nice Garry but I think I prefer the 18650 see-through box and its 'unusual' look.  Cheesy  Haven't been able to put it down since I got it on Saturday.  Smiley

LOL I don't give that much away.
But I think it's nice to give back to the forum now and then.
Even If I am getting an honest review back in payment.

I will be making the 18650 Aurora in a limited run to start.
If the demand is there I will make a few more.
No need for a 48hr GT Abe If I'm selling it, it should work, lol (I hope) Wink
Same goes for the other mods all will go through LF

I've had some time to play recently as my LG switch order has taken ages to come through. Hence the new mods.
I'm currently making 2 blue, 2 black and a silver side winder.
And I hope quite a few more to send to Abe this week.
Including some 18650 box mods.

I do however have the 1st two mini torches as seen in the been playing thread.
The Blue and Pink 10440 ones.
I will start a new thread about those Wink

Interesting stuff!

Can I ask what's so great about an anti-vandal switch?  Honest question, I really know nothing about them.
